When Slimesito came to France for the first time, we seized the opportunity to shoot a video with him. With his tight schedule, we had less than an hour and a half to capture the essence of his world. This challenge pushed us to make every second count, balancing speed and precision in our shot choices. The goal was clear: deliver a striking, professional video despite the time constraint.
To reflect his raw energy, we opted for a fast-paced and immersive direction, blending dynamic shots with more composed sequences. The aesthetic of the video draws inspiration from Slimesito’s underground universe, where red, black, and white dominate. We enhanced this color palette with carefully crafted lighting and contrast, while incorporating VHS effects for a gritty, organic feel. Static shots were strategically placed to balance the frantic rhythm, adding a more cinematic touch.
VFX played a key role in shaping the clip’s dark and mysterious atmosphere. Distortion effects, subtle glitches, and digital smoke seamlessly merged with the visuals, amplifying the artist’s aura without overwhelming it. In just a few hours, we managed to create a video that captures Slimesito’s essence while staying true to our signature aesthetic.
