At the end of 2022, rapper Shawny Binladen and his team were in France for Fashion Week. Being longtime fans of his work, my team and I reached out in the hopes of collaborating on a video. Shawny was immediately receptive, and we quickly set up a meeting to bring the project to life.
Our first encounter took place at the Louvre, where Shawny mentioned his desire to shoot a video with his cousin Big Gltaow. The museum was nearly empty that day, creating a surreal atmosphere that perfectly matched the track’s energy. With this in mind, we decided to film both inside and outside the iconic location, using its grandeur to contrast with the raw, street aesthetic of the artists.

As we moved through the museum, Shawny and his crew performed with the same intensity as if they were back in Queens. Their signature 'sturdy' dance moves and unapologetic presence turned the historic setting into their own playground. The visuals captured the collision of two worlds—the elegance of classical art and the rawness of modern street culture.
The Paris–New York connection came to life effortlessly, blending the codes of luxury with an unfiltered authenticity. The result is a unique visual identity, where timeless art meets the energy of contemporary rap, creating a clip that is both unexpected and iconic.
